服务详情
The ship anchor is a core piece of equipment for vessel berthing and safe operations. Whether for newbuild anchors, replacement anchors for maintenance, or large positioning anchors for offshore platforms, we provide professional logistics and transport services from the factory to ports worldwide.
Common Types
High Holding Power (HHP) Anchors
AC-14 Type Anchor, Spek Anchor, Delta Anchor, Hall Anchor
Admiralty Anchor, Stockless Anchor, Stocked Anchor
Various custom anchors and companion anchor shackles
Key Transport Challenges
Heavy Single-Unit Weight: Ranging from several hundred kilograms to over twenty tons; cannot be simply loaded on standard pallets or as breakbulk cargo.
Irregular Shape: The anchor flukes and shank protrude, making the anchor prone to rolling, impact, and damage to itself or adjacent cargo during transport.
Low Center of Gravity but Difficult Lifting Points: The lifting balance point must be precisely located; otherwise, the anchor may tilt or rotate during lifting.
High Securing Requirements: Must prevent lateral movement while avoiding over-constraint that could cause structural deformation.
Our Transport Solutions
Packaging & Securing
Secure the anchor body using custom steel frames, welded bases, or anti-slip wooden dunnage.
Install protective covers or foam cushioning on the flukes to prevent scratching.
Design dedicated lashing plans based on anchor weight and geometry, in compliance with the Cargo Securing Manual and vessel requirements.
Lifting & Handling
Provide on-site lifting guidance or arrange experienced riggers.
Design lifting beams or dedicated slings based on the anchor's lifting points to ensure smooth hoisting.
Support full-process operations including factory loading, terminal unloading, and shipside direct loading.
Transport Modes
Open-Top Containers or Flat Rack Containers: Suitable for small/medium anchors under 10 tons, avoiding container height restrictions.
Breakbulk Stowage on Deck: Suitable for large heavy anchors, stowed bare. We provide lashing materials and installation.
Road Transport: Low-bed flatbeds or extended flatbeds, suitable for single or small quantities of large anchors.
Sea Freight:
Multimodal Transport: Road + sea + inland barge combination for door-to-door service.
Optional Value-added Services
Assistance with export customs declaration and commodity inspection (if required).
Coordination of pre-shipment inspections (e.g., SGS, BV, etc.).
Simultaneous shipment of matching components such as anchor chains, shackles, and swivels to save transport costs.
Our Advantages
Years of experience handling irregular heavy cargo; we have built a "lifting point – lashing" database for various anchor types.
Stable Ro-Ro and breakbulk vessel slot cooperation on major global routes.
Provide transport plan drawings and lashing schemes in both Chinese and English for client and vessel confirmation.
Flexible single-shipment handling: one unit or dozens of units, all managed efficiently.
